📝 Supplies needed
For this craft, you will need:
- Patriotic star template: See further below on how to print out the PDF. There's no sign up needed to get the template.
- Straw: We used a paper straw but any "wand" material will work like a popsicle stick, chopstick, or whatever else you may have on hand.
- Crayons or markers: Use whatever you prefer.
- Scissors: Or have younger children use plastic safety scissors.
- Tape: To add the straw or wand material to the back.
✂️Step by step guide on how to make this craft
Step 1: Print the template and color it in.
Step 2: Cut the template out.
Step 3: Add a paper straw (or popsicle stick) to the back of the wand with tape. You can also tape streamers or ribbon to the back for some extra flair.

This is totally optional but you can laminate the star template to make the wand more durable.
