Juneteenth is such an important holiday. I wanted to create some free Juneteenth Coloring Pages to help children and families celebrate this special day!
Juneteenth is short for June 19th. It is a federal holiday that celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. Troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to announce that all persons must be freed. Juneteenth is also called "Freedom Day."
